I reported a post today that seemed to have had a link hijacked by an undesirable site. Within a few seconds, the post had disappeared so I was just wondering what actually happened when you report a post.

Usually the reported posts are deleted.

:) Yes it was. But I was wondering if it was an automatic thing. Or did someone get a nudge, read and delete. Just interested.

It's not automatic. We're just fast. In this case, Dave was fast. :thumb:

I have my laptop at work and get notices of new non-junk email by this in the top right hand corner of the screen.

http://www.ttlg.com/dave/reportedpost.pngBecause I can see the subject and some of the body text I can hit the widget, click the link and delete the post. :)

The truth is that David is forcing the TTLG RSS-Bot to deliver all those messages to his mac. In overtime. No extra pay.
Hence the poor thing is always late with its regular job, and is now having therapy sessions to remedy the trauma caused by unjust bashing from community members.

Oh, you are so banned for that

So I guess you saw what I did then. I mean I have no particular objections to the subject matter in general but that was truly revolting.
Thanks for the explanation and how reassuring that our Admin are on the ball, so to speak. :D
