I can not repiar my weapons and armor any more since I installed the patch and started my new character. When I first installed the game and started my test character, I was able to repair my items myself and now I can't. My armorer and restoration skills are in the 40's. I am a dark elf bard. The game still has glitches in it even after installing the patch. For example, I can increase my money, but I can't spend it even when I bribe or receive services. The NPC's get the money but not from me. I can live with the money thing but having to go back to town for repairs is really annoying because it takes a long time and can be fatal. Can any one explain this or even help me fix the problem?

restoration is only for disease, healing, restoring attributes so i dont know how that helps with weapons . . . :weird:
i found that even with a high armourer skill, repairing weapons was VERY hard. Your best just carrrying a back-up weapon. Besides those armourer prongs and hammers are heavy for your little bard! :cheeky:

With your restoration skill, visit the dwarven mage in one of the Sewers in Vivec(I forget which one, you might have to swim to get to him, he's kind of hard to see). He should sell you the 'Repair Armor and Weapons' spell, that you can use for restoring armor.
For bribing, leave the money on the ground for the people, they'll get the message.

*smacks* Tuco, you dumbass! You forgot all about the Muck Launcher (made from combining a Muck Shovel (not so useless anymore, eh?) and a piece of Muck. It involves taking a short trip to Tel Vos and its mage, the one in the tower. Unless you're in House Telvanni, it's going to be hard to get him to combine the items. Once you find the dwarven mage, you have to shoot the three targets with the ML. The Dwarf will be impressed by your skills and finally talk to you. Otherwise he just says something like, "I have no reason to talk to you." And only gives you the Goodbye option.
