Depends on which +30 you're looking for. The most common one is the electric battery. You can get one from a stash in yantar, the clue to it is typically on a scientist in wild territory. If you recheck the static dead scientist bodies every time you pass through, it can repop. The 'family gun' quest giver also gives a quest to destroyer the bloodsucker nest in the Millitary Warehouses - this rewards an electricity battery and repops, albiet slowly. I've also seen them spawn (albiet very very rarely) in the Agroporom and the Dark Valley, in water - though I wouldn't keep my hopes up on those.

I haven't found a single Battery artifact and I'm in Military Warehouses, do they only appear at night near certain anomalies?

There is one Battery at the top of a tower, near the place where you do the job of destroying a Bloodsuckers lair in the Warehouse area (the guy at the bar who gave you the 'Family Rifle' quest will also give you that quest).

They're excruciatingly rare, and I've actually never seen them in anomalies, just in lakes. You're better off doing the quests for the elec ones. The fire one...AFAIK, there is only the one of those, and it's statically placed.
D'Arcy, I'm pretty sure that's a spring, not a battery, unless there's a second tower I missed.

I haven't seen many lakes in the game, just a few big water pools like in Agroprom and Military Warehouse. :erm:

Well, lakes is an exagerration, I suppose.

Thanks guys, I'll check out those places/quests. Also, anyone know where to get another moonlight artifact or two? One reappeared in the agroprom sewers (where all the lighting is), but I died in the anomoly and the artifact was gone when I reloaded :/

Maybe I'm confusing both, then (they actually have the same shape). In that case, I can't remember where did I find the Battery I currently have.

I found an electrical resist battery in garbage, just outside the entrance to the dark valley. At the end of the day, they aren't really very useful, since they only protect you from a few anomalies and there are plenty of suits with high resistance.

If you find enough of them to protect you more than 100%, they are very useful as this thread explains. ;)
