Jermi, do you still have those meshes around? I can imagine the high poly models could be used to make good normals, and then the poly count could be lowered to make them pretty viable for inside the game. Would make a nice model pack if you or someone else wanted to have a go at it.
Only if you wanted to of course. I can only imagine how many hours it would take to do that.

Sure I still have it. Max6 users can download from (
http://jermi.dyndns.org/~jermi/misc/rope70.zip) http://jermi.dyndns.org/~jermi/misc/rope70.zip. I excluded the textures from (or based on textures from) max and some from Total Textures vol 1, which aren't freely distributable. But at least all the geometry is there.
I can also try to provide detail shots and answer questions, time permitting.
But I still think all this is of limited use to anyone. While modeling, I didn't really solve anything, I just copied stuff from the concept art into 3d, forced perspective included. The geometry works only from the camera angle. And I didn't model anything that's not visible in the concept art. I also simplified some things to save time. My advice is: start from scratch.

Detail shots and clarifications on certain things would be very useful to me, Jermi. I appreciate your help.
