The Today's Birthdays list is often bittersweet. Today it was our beloved Lady Rowena. But I've noticed others over the past months who are no longer with us and each time it can be painful. We could remove birthday details but I think this thread shows us how important it is for us to be reminded of those who have touched our lives and made us better.
Lady R was so special and so talented, it's hard to know she's isn't here anymore.

I loved the style of her missions. I was moved to thank her for them, only to be told that she had passed away. Never even knew her, but still felt the loss, which I think shows how much of herself she put into her brilliant work.

I don't think I ever conversed with her on the forums, but I wish I had--if just to tell her how much I love her missions. The Seven Sisters is my absolute favorite FM series of all time; it's so atmospheric and beautiful, and the care and attention to detail she put into all her missions was truly an inspiration.
Rest in peace, Lady Rowena, you are greatly missed. :(
