Sorry to add another thread... but I don't know where to put all this...
1 - Why is it possible to put some similar objects in the same inventory slots and not others.
I can put a lot of fishes in the same slot but some lily flowers can go into the same slot and some can't. Is it a matter of size? Then what's the difference between a large and a small lily? Because, once in the inventory, there's no visible difference. You should allow the player to regroup small and large lilies if they do not make much of a difference.
2 - How do I know if I'm gonna be hungry? There's no indicator except that the player sometimes (seldom) complains about being hungry.
3 - Will it be possible to sleep ? Do heroes dream of super sheeps ? ;-)
4 - As I saw in a post, I also think it would be nice to know how much health/man points are left by clicking on the red and blue flasks in the corners of the screen.
5 - As noted elsewhere, I confirm the cursor sometimes disappears while it should be visible (you should check the switches between the book, the inventory and the combat and magic system... it's often during these transitions that the cursor disappears).
6 - What exactly are the orange and green rubbish in the prison? I can't guess what it is... vegetables?
7 - When moving objects, the red cross has no apparent relation with the position of the object. Therefore, I thing the red cross is useless. Isn't it?
Also, it shouldn't be allowed to drop objects through walls. For example, it's very easy to put the bench in the prison at least half in the wall.
8 - It would be nice to be able to close secondary inventories (bodies, chests...) by double-clicking on empty parts of the inventories (in addition to double-clicking on the containers themselves).
9 - There a bug with the chest near Ortiem (the guard in the keep) and bottles of wine, the first time you open the chest. Bottles of wine appear in the chest but they are actually the ones you are carrying. So if you are carrying N bottle(s), there will be N in the chest but if you take them, they are not added to your inventory (because they are already there). If you don't understand what I mean, just experiment...
10 - I'd like to be able to skip dialogs. I've completed the demo several times (I love it! :)) and I'm starting to know dialogs by heart... I'd like to skip them by pressing the Escape key.
11 - About dialogs, if you go and speak to the barmaid right after entering the tavern, she'll talk a little to you about who you are and the travellers guild. But if you go directly to the password protected door, and only then to the barmaid, the first thing you say is about the password and you'll never do the little chit-chat. That's not very polite. ;) I think that even if you are already wondering about the password, it should be the first thing you talk about with the barmaid.
And finally, just a little (useless?) tip I found... In the prison, there are a few areas where you can't see anything... and you don't have yet a mean to produce light. You don't? Sure you do!!! Just use the magic system and draw horizontal lines (left-right-left-right... without releasing the mouse button) at the top of the screen. Guess what it produces enough light to see around you... Useless, isn't it? :)

I think this happens if you dont' turn off mouselook before opening the book. If I turn it off first, I never have the disappearing cursor. I only saw it disappear whenI opened the book.

I found that I could skip them with Escape. However, it only skips one line at a time, so you have to press it multiple times to skip the entire conversation.

I don't know if its too late to change. But the initial dialogs seem very unnatural to me...
I got some suggestions:
In the initial dialog, where the travellers guild member suggest that you can probably escape :), wouldn't be more appropriate that he whispers to you and that the guard interrupts this conversation, "Hey, No talk!" ?
And in the conversation where he names you 'Am Shaegar':
It seems odd to me that he says "It means ... in a foreign tongue".
When you speak 'a foreign tongue' you don't refer to it as such, you call it by it's name: "It means ... in italian" for instance...
Then again, why does he explain it...?
Wouldn't it be nicer if he just names you, and you repeat the name mumbling to yourself?
Then when you are first asked what your name is, you answer hesitantly, "Am Shaegar?...".
And much, much later in the game you figure out he called you "The Nameless One" ;)....
If I had a massive case of amnesia, I would be much more hesitant towards strangers giving me advise... Plus, if the sun has stopped shining a couple of generations ago, would I 'not-remember' this fact and still expect a sun (as the guild member expects)? ....don't think so. But maybe this is all part of the true plot: the guild is hiding something!
Can't wait to play the full game though...

Well, I think that a lot of problems would dissapear if they greatly improve their clipping algorithm. I hope that its not too late for them to also revamp the ingame physics.

About the cursor disappearing, I have found that in fact, it is not invisible but simply out of the screen. For example, the Magic cursor (a small red pentagram) can go out of the screen limits...
I'm not sure it's a good idea to allow the cursor beyond the screen boundaries...

Agreed, it's not a good idea at all. More times than not, when I enter magic mode, my cursor is off screen and I have to move it around to find it at all. That could take away valuable seconds in a fight. When entering magic mode (or any cursor mode for that matter), the cursor should start out in the center of the screen.

When the status book is open and you right click in the background, the cursor disappears but you do not enter free-look anyway. If it's not a bug, it's not a good thing either. I think right clicking while the book is open shouldn't do anything (or should close the book like any other book/parchment in the game).

You can only stack identical items. Therefore lilies of different sizes, even though their inventory icons are identical, can't be stacked. The same is true of torches - I have only ever been able to stack unused torches (20/20 Durability). I haven't tried used torches with the same durability, but I imagine that thwo torches with, say, 15/20 Dur wouldn't be stackable, because the game quite possibly knows *exactly* how long the torch was in use, rather than just it's 'visible', X/20 durability.

Then if lilys are only used as powder for potions, this would save inventory space to mortar them (this should make different lilys the same once crushed)...

It's possible to skip some dialogs but not all.
For instance, the long dialog with Ortiem can't be skipped (only the "scrolling flashback part" can be skipped).
