Check to see if the Conditions or Actions are the problem. Change the condition to something like When Player Starts Map From Load, Launch Or Travel (or whatever it is). The condition I was using was just to make them show up when they're dead, but let's skip that for now.

I tried. I gave them the "when player starts the map" condition. Nothing. :(
EDIT: Now that I think about it... I've always copied the changed gamesys from the editor installation to the game installation... but what about that script? Is it built in the gamesys or is it a separate file? Maybe that's why I don't see the invisibility effect...

Ok I got it working. The Enforcers are invisible, neutral and kicking! :) :cheeky:
Ok, friends, it's working for the editor install. How about the regular install? (the one I use for playing). Is it enough to just copy the gamesys file?

Mission completed. :)
What I have now are invisible Enforcers (much stronger than before, about Gamall's level). I left their shadows though, it's kind of spooky to see them in the light...just a shadow moving. T
hey're also neutral to everyone so there is no useless slaughter. It's also creepy when among bypassers there are those deadly ghosts hunting you and none sees them.
All this in the form of the gamesys and a custom script. If someone wants it I could upload it somewhere.
Next I'll have to see if making them truly telepathic is doable, since many people more expert than me failed at the attempt. :erg:

Sure thing, I'll even whip it into a small patch.

There is a little complication though. My Assassins are installed in a gamesys already modified by John's graphics and Minimalist mod. As soon as I have some time to spare I'll do Assassins working on default gamesys.

Great! Guess I'll have to play the game again. :cheeky:

Sure thing, just let me know when it's ready.

Do John P's textures actually modify the gamesys at all? I wouldn't have thought they did. IIRC they just patch IBTs and copy the new textures to DynamicallyLoaded.
Having it available both for Minimalist
and for vanilla is probably desirable. Though it strikes me as being a good potential Minimalist addition in itself.

Seconded! :thumb:

I had my doubts too, Crispy, but as soon as I made it work, Garrett reverted to the default graphics and minimalist lost some of its features, like the health bar.
I have to see where the treshold lies. This engine is really a mess, and from what I saw it caches a lot so the tests could be lying me :erg:
