Hi folks, I feel that I have enough work done on my "Redoran Manor Home" to show of an Alpha.
This is my current Project, and soon to be my own house. To find it, go to Maar Gan via Silt Strider. It is directly North-West of the Siltstrider. You will see that there is already an exterior design set up for it.
Please let me have your opinion of this design. *THIS MOD REQUIRES BLOODMOON*

When I am done, this manor and other manors will include:
1)A Private Vault for Storing Gear, many empty chests, empty shelves, and places to put manniquins on display.
2)Realistic Detail, I am basing my upcoming 2 and this manor project on the Three different houses. They should look like you just entered another Redoran Manor, or Telvanni Mushroom.
3)Controlled Merchants, I had an idea to allow the player to have some freedom in the selection of merchants outside the main manor. A Merchant Counsel House will be placed somewhere, where you can talk with a Merchant Guildmaster and tell him which merchants you wish to hire. So you can choose which type of merchant you want for your home
4)A Quest to accuire the home. Much like the other strongholds built by the player each will have a three step quest for building. Some areas won't be reachable until the quest is completed.
Possibly More...
If you find any errors, let me know. This is an ALPHA Version (before BETA). You take the risk of downloading this and using this. I hold no responsiblity if it messes your computer up.

I have a horrible host, I can't get the screenshots to work right. Please just check my mod out if you have Bloodmoon. :(
I think it's very good :cheeky:
edit
Hah! Got them to work! :)

Nice job... it does look like you worked hard on it. I assume you posted this because you want comments and criticism, so I'll give some:
It looks just like any other Redoran Manor under Skar. You mentioned that you intended that, but is there anything that would make say, "Wow, I really want to live THERE"? After all, there are about 18,000 house mods out there. Controlling the merchants and having a quest to get the house might help it stand out, were you able to make that work?

Yes, but I haven't started on it yet :D
I wanted to get the physical part of the plugin down first before I started dialogue and scripting. I felt it made more sense that way.
Stick with me as I explain how I planned to implement the different merchant shops.
First I was going to make 1 to 3 different interior cell for each generic merchant (possibly combining the savants and the booksellers), then make 3 different empty merchant huts because they would start empty.
Outside of those interior cells would be the three huts. Each would start with one of the three different empty hut cells visible. The other cell doors would be there as well in the editor but not visible to the player (via the stronghold scripts). Until one merchant is purchased by the player.
When the player purchases the merchant the visible door, the empty hut, would become invisible, and whatever merchant's door that was selected would then become visible.
In theory this should work.
The quest for actually acquiring the home is something I really have not gave too much thought too. I do agree though that this quest would make it possibly stick out if done right. Otherwise I don't think I will be seeing many downloads on my site stats :)
A few vague ideas I had for it are possibly a reward for a big fight between one of the other houses (Of course you would have to side with the Redoran House for this home...), actually I just came up with a great idea right now involving the Daedra and Aedra and a sire of one of them... I'll get back to you on it.
As you can see, that quest is something I need to think on :erg:
