I'm just about ready to take on Dagoth Ur and all of his bloodsucking Cronies. The one thing i'm missing is the spell for "regenerating magika." If I could enchant an item with it then I will have the edge I need/want. I've been to everyone who seems to sell spells so i'm at a loss. I don't want to go "door to door" all over Vvardenfell if I can help it. A simple hint that points me in the right direction would be fine. Thanks

Far as I can tell from the editor's search function, there is no such beastie... there's the generalised Restore Skill and Restore Attribute, where if you learn one variant you can use them all, and then there's Restore Health, Restore Fatigue and Restore Magicka. I went scanning thru the editor looking for such, and all I found were potion effects that restore magicka; I even went thru the enchantments and looked every second or third one.
It just doesn't make sense, anyhow; you don't discharge a low-filled car battery and expect to get more juice back than you lost.... and if they'd included it as a spell, some smartass would find a way to do just that. So, unless you feel like making a mod that creates an enchantment and applies it to an item (and barring any omission on my part thru lack of knowledge), I'd say you're kind've SOL. :p

Hmm.......I stand corrected! What I ment to ask was where I could find a person who sells the "Restore Magicka" spell. My Bad. :tsktsk:

Yup, that's what I was replying about; sorry, I was speaking in editor-ese there ;) To put it simply, as far as I could tell from searching thru the editor, no such spell exists. You could make one w/ the editor and assign it to a spell-teacher though if you wished ;)

it does make sense that there is no "restore Magicka" spell...that'd be like selling dehydrated water...
BUT, I think I saw in the editor a "Absorb Magicka" Spell, though again, it does not show up in the enchant screen. I do know for a fact that there is such a spell effect, since there was a scroll with said effect upon it (red something or other) and it would transfer 5-15 Magicka for 15 seconds on target. seems to me there has to be a spell for that effect.....of course you could use the editor to make a merchant that sells these scroll, ad infinitum.

The absorb magicka spell is probably the closest thing to what you want... Just talk to some people in Mages' Guilds (all of them). One of them will have a spell with an Absorb Magicka effect. After you have the spell, you can enchant items with that effect. Be warned however, absorb magicka is a pretty expensive effect, so you would need an amulet, ring, or a daedric shield if you want to enchant something with it....
Eater.

uhhhhhhhhh... we're already there dude
Uhhh... no we're not. That's a method of making a water droplet with a discrete and permeable-resistant 'skin', not what VetMichael was referring to.
