Driver 2, exclusively released for the first-generation PlayStation in 2000, is now playable as a native application on Windows and GNU/Linux operating systems thanks to an open-source project called REDRIVER 2!
As a huge fan of the first two games in the series, I wanted to spread the word about the project to those who have never heard of it before.
Watch the trailer here:

Obviously, you will need the Driver 2 game files.

Yeah I saw this. Driver 2 is the only entry in the series I haven't played so I'm kinda tempted, but the effort of
procuring an iso file of the original and installing it turned me off.
There's also this thingy called (
https://driver-syndicate.com/) Driver Syndicate, which is a remake of the original. I played a bit of it recently, the "job interview" is still as tough as ever, but I nailed it eventually.

The installation wasn't a big deal for me, but if there were a software that handles things for you, that would be nice.
As for The Driver Syndicate, I am aware of that project and have been enjoying it for a good while. Looks very promising!
