i have to go to Maar Gan to find out what happened to a trader (don't know his name)
i asked around they say he must've get stuck in the ash storm, what do i have to do now?
search the whole ashlands region?!

Just keep asking; one person saw him and will tell you where he went (I don't recall, or I'd tell you).

Oh god, are you still struggling on with House Redoran?
There are a few people who saw him entering a tomb but only one who can tell you where the tomb is (but i can't remember who) suffice to say once you know what to do it's fairly easy to find.
Travel back towards Ald'ruhn from Mar Gan keeping a very close eye on the local map; at the point when the road starts to bend directly south climb up the embankment on your right (if you are facing south) once over the crest of the hill you should see the entrance to the tomb.
I found it amusing how this individual felt he would be safer in an ancestral tomb rather than out in a dust storm. :erg:

Not in the least bitter about Redoran, are we, Red? ;)
As to preferring the tomb to the storm, the player must be immune to the storm's effects, as that trader "lost a couple guar" to the storm. As there were no bodies or anything outside, one can only assume that the storm is so abrasive that it wears unprotected critters down to blood spots in the span of a few minutes :p

I'm a man to hold a grudge that's for sure. :p ;)

first of all Red: whya re you holding a grudge against Redoran?
second of all i'll have to keep my eye out for storms.
funny how the effects in morrowind really do seem to hinder your travel.
too bad it doesn't kill cliffracers :(

Well I think I've explained myself on another of your posts so I'll save you from further ranting - the Redoran Faction just wasn't my 'cup of tea' but if you're enjoying yourself don't let me put you off.
