I am nearlz done with the Redoran House. But I can't seem to become Archmaster.
I am House Father and got promoted to Councilman.
But then when I talk to Garisa Llethri about further advancement, he says something like I have a stronghold and the support of all councillors and he doesn't see a reason why I shouldn't be the new Archmaster.
Then he says gratulations to being the new Archmaster.
BUT: I am still Councilman.
Anyone know why and what I can do?

Hmm.. no idea why he says congrats on being Archmaster, but Garisa's just one vote. All the councilors must agree before you can progress, and then Athyn Sarethi will clue you in to the next step. Or am I missing something?

Sorry , I messed up the anmes of the councilors. I meant Athyn Sarethi and not Garisa Llethri.
The problem is still there, however. I am a councilman and Athyn sarethi answers on mz request of advancement: " I see no reason why you shouldn't be the new Archmaster", but nothing happens- no journal entry,and no actual increase in rank.
Could it be that I have joined House Redoran AFTER I became House Hortator and killed Bolvyn Venim?
If that is the case, I believ I am reallz stuck, and will need to use the console.
What is the console command to increase mz rank in a faction ( House Redoran, from Councilman to Archmaster)?

Ahhh, you're already Redoran Hortator? Hmm.. it should auto-promote you in that case, IIRC.
The command should be "RCRaiseRank redoran" in this case, but I'm at work so can't double-check. Shout out if it doesn't?
