I'm trying to complete the quest which will gain me the support of Garisa Llethri by shutting down the Caldera ebony mine. I've unfortunately already freed Dahleena, but what's worse is that although I've taken the secret ledger from the Governor's building, Garisa Llethri won't recognise that I've got it when I bring it back to Ald'Ruhn.
Anyone else had this problem, or know of a solution? In the meantime, it's infuriating me as I've intended to go for the grandmastership of Redoran from the start...

Yeah, just kill both Odral Helvi and Stlennius Vibato - you won't get the 'good' reward from Garisa (ebony boots), but you'll resolve the quest to his satisfaction.

I don't know if that'll solve it. Garisa won't even recognise that I've got the evidence of corruption that he wants, so even if I kill the both of them he'll still ask for the evidence he wanted earlier. I guess I'll have to check again later.

Well y'see, Garisa asks you to do two things re: the mine for him... and freeing Dahleena is a possible solution for the 2nd. Unfortunately, if you free her prematurely it jogs him into his 2nd task but provides no clue how to get him out of it. Further, the only other way to resolve his task is to kill those two NPCs, and as you've freed Dahleena you really don't have much choice in the matter.
