hi all
i was wondering if anyone has managed to get Redguard to work in xp with out a voodoo card? i just finished System Shock (uber!!!) and bought redguard after hearing good things, but when i try to play it says that the game is trying to gain acsess to my prossesor or somtheng to that effect and shuts down if i click continue.
please help, i need this, I NEED IT BAD!!! :)

It details the possibilities for getting each old Elder Scrolls game (Arena, Battlespire, Redguard, and Daggerfall) running under Win95/98/ME, Win2K, and WinXP. While the details on a Redguard/XP combo are pretty spotty, you might be able to get it working, or try some of the XP tricks for the other games.

Redguard works under XP if you download (
http://www.glidos.net/) Gildos. This is shareware so unless you pay $20 a ugly Gildos logo spins about. You have to install the 3DFX version and start it from the Gildos consle. The software version doesn't work.

update:
well i checked out that site and it didn't tell me to much but it gave me and idea. i mad a ms-dos boot disk for xp and started it up in there, IT WORKED, but there is no sound :grr: so anyone out there with any hints???
