I'm pretty much neutral on this continuing avatar debate but I would be interested to see what an acceptable range of avatars could work in this place. I have yet to see any forums that have avatars that could live with the usual quality of ideas, stories and posts that the ttlg community produce. Any of you pro avatars know of any forums worth a look at?

I don't think that there was anything unfair about the administrators having avatars, really. But I guess this will make more people happy.
