My god died years ago. I'm pleasantly surprised that it appears to be true.
It's Odin, isn't it? Man, I loved that silly bugger, so sad to see him go... :(

I've spent the day playing this game and have been having an absolute blast. It's loads of fun destroying shit.
The PC version runs great on my rig and the DX10 effects (ambient occlusion and sun shafts look lovely, really adding to the atmosphere of the game, IMO.

I also started playing this, it's great. Really smooth clean graphics, it isn't really pretty, just solid. Great gameplay, AI is a bit off sometimes but not a very big problem.

Love this game.
Nothing quite like beating the hell out of a building with a sledge hammer until it all comes crumbling down. Or carefully walking through a building and placing remote charges on stress points, demolition style, and then standing way back on top of ahil while you set them off and watch the building disintegrate.
GeoMod 2.0 - I salute you.

Honestly Red Faction: Armageddon looks like uninspired tosh. A linear horror TPS? Aliens dormant under the surface of Mars? Ugh. If I wanted to play Dead Space, I'd play well, Dead Space.
I loved Guerilla, definitely one of the surprises of 2009 for me. It was fun being a total bastard in a sandbox environment and smashing shit with the hammer. Bringing down buildings upon people with the mining charges. Smashing through walls in high-speed vehicle.
True, the narrative and characters were totally under-developed, forgettable bollocks, but I don't think that many people cared. Guerilla was all about the gameplay.

I'm currently still being a total bastard in RF: G. Reached Eos, and I'm loving the fuck out of jetpacking across the hills and blitzkrieging unsuspecting foes and/or civilians from above. (So morale takes a little beating. So what, there's only like a gazillion side missions to make up for it.)
As for RF: A, it certainly looks linear, but do we have a confirmation on that? Also, there's this little ol' thingy called the magnet gun that looks like hugely ridiculous fun.
EDIT: henke - I'm actually an alternate version of you from your future, which explains our astonishingly similar opinions. And I have also come to warn you: in 2015, there are chakats. Rabid, man-eating chakats.
Build that bunker.
