I posted about an indepth realism mod I’d put together for the game, making the it a hell of a lot more of a ‘Guerrilla’ experience, enforcing stealthy play and planning to succeed, retuning physics, vehicles, weapons ‘n all alongside heavy tweaking to the health/armour/healing systems.
Gives the guns serious ‘kick’, makes them largely more powerful, retunes explosive effects completely, makes buildings collapse in a more nuanced ongoing way rather than standing on improbably frail-seeming pillars, so on, so forth.
Sounds completely boring and unfun.

Thanks for reinforcing my point. That sounds like completely going against the spirit of the game.

RF:G is a game about making your own building entrance by piledriving a truck through the wall, then you get out and start caving in skulls with a sledgehammer. Subtlety is not a thing the designers had in mind when they made the game.
There's not even an actual fucking stealth system in place anyway.

It's a game where you can pick a fight with a building AND WIN. That said, I'd be all for having a play about with more realistic building physics if nothing else.

RF:G is an incredible sandbox game. This will be a fantastic excuse for me to replay it, I'll be getting the free upgrade after all.

Heh, they haven't touched the physics at all? Still, very kind gesture and I look forward to more demolition shenanigans.
