Red Faction doesn't detect any RAM

When I try to setup Red Faction (Gamer's Choice disc edition), it auto-detects most of my settings correctly - except is says I have 0 RAM (I actually have 4GB DDR3), and it's not letting me run the game. Is there anything I can do? I got the 1.20 patch from RFV.net, but that doesn't seem to have helped.

Use (http://purefaction.org/) Pure Faction, it solves all problems with modern PCs.

Awesome, thanks! Been playing it a bit... shame it doesn't solve the problem with forced stealth missions :p.
