Let's go! Finally free from having to rely upon the awful targeting system. (A few years back I would've said free from 30 fps and muddy resolution, but it's been 60fps on PS5 for about a year now + native 4k resolution on Xbox One X + Xbox Series backward compatibilty for many years.)

IMO a better game than its sequel. No unnecessary simulator gameplay mechanics from RDR2. No meandering episodic narrative either.

I'm playing it on the PS4 Pro now (it's also 4K 60FPS on the Pro), and I'm nearing the end and still having fun. But I agree I would prefer precise mouse&keyboard aiming to what the game has on consoles where the targeting system helps you aim. But then again I don't like aim assist in general, and I suck too much with a controller to play shooters without aim assist, so I don't play a lot of shooters on consoles. Third person is okay I guess but I stopped playing FPS games on consoles.

I found the combat nigh unplayable without the targeting system, because the free aim in the game was really bad. Provided it's a good port, the mouse aim should be a breath of fresh of air.
