Just went back from the qualifiers and it was pretty darn awesome. :cool:

I missed the race when it was in Detroit last year--can't imagine trying to fly and do a drive-by shooting.

Plus all tomorrow to go as well.

I got a great shooting spot, right in front of the start/finish line. I taped most of the airshow part (there were fantastic vintage aircraft: DC-3, Ju-52, biplanes....) so I don't have much stills atm.
