Calling any interested parties, the Red Bull Air Race is in Barcelona next month, anyone wants to fly in and enjoy the show?

Well, that's stupid. Who's going to have their own plane much less be able to fly in the show on such short notice?

I won't be able to make this meet but I sure would like to. I enjoy watching the Red Bull Air Races on TV but have yet to catch a race that is close enough to where I live. I hope you can work something out for a meet. :)

They used to come here on part of the tour. Can't find if they're still doing it.
It's got everything they need; huge wide river, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDhmdbVk0l4) little danger of actually hitting anyone should a mishap occur. Or maybe that's a bad thing.
Anyway, should anyone feel like forming some sort of TTLG Barmy (Plane) Army and following it here, it would save me a lot of money.

Well, looks like I won't be able to make it to Barcelona for this. :erg:

I know I kinda agreed to this at the last meet - and what with this one not being set in the UK the weather might actually turn out quite nice ;) - but I've now got courses I have to attend that weekend, so I'm pretty much booked up. Damn, would've certainly enjoyed watching the air race.
