Light Crusader
Streets of Rage 1
Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage 3
Ristar
Gunstar Heroes
Ecco the Dolphin
Ecco: The Tides of Time

Not a bad haul for $5. The only downside is they make you activate each game individually in Steam.

Well for a grand total of $0 you could have gotten the entire catalogue of 16-bit era games. So uh, yeah pretty bad haul. Why anyone would bother buying games from that period is beyond me. Buying actual cartridges I could understand, but roms? If you're so desperate to throw away your money, at least give it to a bum or something.

There's always one.
Anyway, no love for Toe Jam and Earl?

I remember seeing the magazines raving over Toe Jam and Earl back in the day, but it never clicked with me for some reason.

Maybe he wanted a legit version. Not everyone is a cheapskate or thief.

I'd say the thieves in this case are the ones selling something they had no part in creating.

The first 2 Echo games were outstanding, particularly the second one. It took a long time to master the controls which really reinforced the fact that you were controlling something very different to the usual bipedal characters in other platformers. I can recall a heightened sense of controller throwing rage at times though, trying to make jumps between water sections that had zero margin for error.

Heh, no worries. Controller-snapping difficulty was the default when I grew up. It's actually kind of amazing how much muscle memory and reflexes I have retained.
