For the baby, I definitely agree with the Beatles suggestions. Rubber Soul and Magical Mystery Tour were in the deck almost the whole time my wife was pregnant with both of our boys. Great pregnancy music.

It's not really for the baby to listen to, but for me to listen to :) And it doesn't necessarily have to be happy euphoric music, just whatever music you think is incredibly good

I guess a recurring theme here is female vocal pop, but I tend to be pretty picky about what I like because there is a lot of shit out there too

I can never get into them, although I have tried plenty of times. Destiny is a great song, but every time I try to listen to their albums, I get in kind of a funk, it's just too melancholy

Then I'd consider avoiding the dreary tension building music of both Godspeed and Explosions if I were you, while I love it dearly it's not exactly optimistic mood-building. I'd throw down the obvious suggestion for Air's Moon Safari and their latest disc, Pocket Symphony.
I also have become a bigger fan of The New Pornographers this year than I had, despite always being a fan in some respect, their second-last disc Twin Cinema is half-loaded with some of the best bouncy poppy indie rock you can get.
Oh and a great album for inspirational uplifting type-music I find is Sting's Brand New Day, in particular the tracks Desert Rose and Fill Her Up.

Songs by Camille on Nouvelle Vague:
TUXEDOMOON : In a manner of speaking
THE CLASH : Guns of Brixton
DEAD KENNEDYS : Too drunk to fuck
XTC : Making plans for Nigel
All very nice songs. I always loved the original "In a manner of speaking", as Tuxedomoon has always been one of my favorite bands. And I also liked the Guns of Brixton. Especially since I heard the cover that is on Sandinista, by a daughter of one of the Clash-members. But these covers done by NV and Camille are excellent.
Unfortunatly I couldn't watch that link you posted. Not available in my country. Weird. I do believe they must be the same Camille. Was it the clip for "Ta douleur ?".
