I've been in a TV mood lately. I'd preferably like a show that's currently still being worked on so it gives me more to look forward to as the fall season starts, but if not it's no big deal. I just recently got caught up on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It was fucking hilarious, but I need to begin the hunt for the next show fast.

I hear that Dexter, especially season 2, is quite good. Otherwise I'd second The Wire and I'd add most HBO series to that. Veronica Mars is great fun, too, although it's a very different kind of series.

I think I've only heard bad things about Heroes season 2 - and frankly, I thought that season 1 was overrated. It had fun bits and interesting characters, but it also had lots of dead weight and a weak season finale IMO.

I also heard bad things about season 2, so wasn't expecting much. However, ended up finding it more gripping than I expected, albeit not up to par with the first season - the whole black-tear-twins story being a particular lowlight.
Still, other than that, been on the edge of my seat every week.

I don't watch much TV, the most recent series other than Heroes that I got into would probably be Lost (although I got bored and stopped watching after two seasons), and the mini-series (

Recent films I've seen and loved: Wall-E, The Dark Knight, Indy 4, The Bucket List, The Kite Runner.
