I don't know if anyone agrees with me but putting up one of the most commonly used SS2 modifications to only torrent based DL is.. well... a BAD (see I fixed it) idea. Even though it still has it's player base, it still does not offer the base to DL from.
Simply what is the point in putting stuff like this in .torrent when there are ZERO seeders around? Haha really funny. I even disabled the RC4 encryptions but still no luck.
I would really appreciate if someone could point me to a link to the Rebirth - complete version that I could download, I know the Beta is on fileplanet but I'd like to see how the full version is.
Failing that, I will have to download it from some torrent site and support that BS in turn. Thanks.

I don't remember Rebirth ever going further than beta.

Hmm well I mean the Beta 01 - the complete version, instead of the Beta 1.
The complete version has textures for the psi monkeys and rumblers I think.

After supporting all that BS you could always, you know, offer to host it.
The reason why there are torrents instead of a permanent download is because hosting files costs money and money, unlike complaints, is a rare commodity.

It was necessary to cut the huge bandwidth used up by this mod.

I am seeding it, almost 24/7. I can't tell you why none of the 447 people that have downloaded the mod seed it.
I do wonder myself why I am seeding when I read posts like yours though.

You live in an fantastic world where downloading stuff equals support for the site. I see.

Gee thank you, now I'm definately one step closer to my goal.
Just type 'Free File Hosting' on google, it's not rocket science you know? Sometimes it's not about the buck $$$ but simple brainwork.
To get you started...

Oh thank you, I'll take that as a compliment.

Yes apparently I'm quite deranged. I'm sure all the torrent sites existed if no-one used them.

I've been seeding this all day, too.
If you can't get it, then there must be something wrong with your torrent software.
But, hey, if you want to put the files up on those sites, then feel free.
We could as easily stop seeding them since the only thing we get out of it is a clogged upstream...

Thing is I don't have those files heheh :(
But it was just a suggestion to point out that there are other alternatives. I'm sure my Azureus is working fine though, since I DL ~10 gigs a week. I'll leave it running for the night, perhaps it will pick a trace.

Suggestions work better when you're nicer about it.
Azureus is often pretty picky. Definitely leave it running while you're at work or school or asleep. You never know when it'll pick up a signal.
