It's a Nepethes. I've got one in my room. Some get big enough that rats or little apes drown in its water-enzyme-mix.

Sorry to be such a pedant, but the pitcher plant genus is
Nepenthes. I know it's nit-picking, but scientists can be very peculiar about binomial names :)

Sorry, it was just a typo. I once had all the Latin names in mind, dionaea muscipula, drosera (capensis for instance), saracenia (or do you write it with a "z"?)...well by the way I should clean and remake my terrarium with all those beasts inside. :idea:
@ clearing: Festung Königstein is about an hour by car from here. It's huge but looks still a little modern. But they have cannons. A lot of cannons. And wasps around the ice cream parlour in summer. A lot of wasps. :sweat:
