ok when i try to run T3ED.exe i get the error saying
"you must launch the thief: deadly shadows editor from T3.exe with the "editor" commandline argument."
any help on what exacly it wants me to do ( i'm no coder so thats gobadley gook to me)

Did you set up T3Ed like described in e.g. Komag's tutorial (see shadowdarkkeep.com)? If not, try this first.

You have to download the dracflamloc's Thief Launcher, and launch the editor with that. It's just this.
