How do I use the redable MetalPlaque? I tried using the method described in Komag tutorial for redables, but it worked only with a book...

Strange, if you make sure it has txt extension in its properties after you place it and has text entry exactly like books it should work. Like;
VERSION 2.0
TextEntry
mymetalplaque
lang_english 2004-03-02 19:44:11 "\n<font=Papyrus14>\nmymetal plague's message"

I did the same thing with a book and it works, but with the plaque, I can frob it how many times I want and nothing happens.

You need to find the thingy that you set for "non-blocking text": I think it's just a property to add/twiddle, but it's been a while since I did it. Otherwise the plaques don't show up because it hasn't got a book-backdrop style for it.
It's not quite the same as setting up a book, but I can't remember exactly what you do.

I searched all the properties, but couldn´t find anything about it...

Aha!
It was a problem with my Editor fonts. Just replaced my editor .ini files with the game .ini files and now it is working.
(It works like a book, only need to change BookFileName propertie)
