the ddfix doesn't work for me. I run it (using the -noadmincheck command) and a window pops up telling me that "ddfixGUI has stopped working".
There seems to be a lot of back and forth with this problem. I bookmarked the appropiate thread and read it, but found no solution to my particular situation (which I note was shared by Garret-Son)

Hmm.. you may be an exception to ddfix working. If so, that's unfortunate.:erg: Keep in mind that ddfix has stopped being worked on by Timeslip, or so it seems to me. Perhaps someone could shoot him an email or something and see if he can update the patch. Note that with ddfix 1.1.1 and below it used directx 9 but in later versions he switched to directx6. So, if you are using 1.3.11, you may want to switch to 1.1.1 and see if it helps. I must warn you though, 1.1.1 has it's own problems.
At least thief 2 runs though without ddfix; that in itself is a triumph. I hope you can resolve your issue.
In other news, vista plain sucks ass (in my opinion.) I made it a point to get XP Pro when I bought my laptop this past year.:D

I'm still struggling here in getting things to work. Does anyone have all three Thief games + FM's performing properly over the Windows Vista 64 bit platform ?

Clock - You should send a PM to LarryG. He has Vista 64. I don't know if he has all three games or not but he has come up with lots of great fixes for Thief and Vista 64.

Thanks for the tip...I've already tried some fixes, but was unsuccessful. I'll look into it soon.
