Yes, I know, and yes I can. Just because I don't think a game was The Bestest Game Evar doesn't mean that it wasn't a good game (especially for others). It's just my opinion and preference.

Btw; I find it's usually helpful to actually play a game before I feel entitled to have an opinion regarding that particular game.

Just sayin'.

Mostly everyone here will favour the S.T.A.L.K.E.R games over Call of Duty, so that's not exactly going against the trend. But I understand what you meant.

Also, the other part of my message was much tainted with conscious subjectivity and as such did not really deserve a serious reply :)

I bought the game two days ago and I must say I now have serious difficulties understanding some of the negative comments about HR. I'm not far into the game (like DX, I play HR very slowly), but up to now I'd say that, although it is not as hardcore as DX, nor as groundbreaking now as DX was in 2000, it certainly lives up to the name "Deus Ex".
