Um...big sad question for those of us who are sick of perusing through the same worthless tombs and such.........
I have, in previous games, come across a ring called Marara's Ring. It's sweet, if you hadn't heard of it.

oops
anyway
Marara's Ring:
Resist Normal Weapons 40%
Reflect 20%
Constant Effect
Something like that
I can't find it again!!
if someone would be kind enough to.....you know.......help me out here.......
And also, the Ring of the Wind described in the book beside the last dwarf in the Corprusarium, does it exist?
Thank you........for putting up with the relative nievete and impatence
lol

My first character has it. I have no recollection where it came from, she got it early in the game. The only pointer I can offer is this: she is House Hlaalu and joined all guilds except thieves and Morag Tong. And early in the game, she stuck to doing the quests given by her guildmasters rather than going exploring by herself.
The Ring of the Wind exists too. Very nice. Again, can't remember where she got it.
If UESP worked, you could find the info there, no doubt. Let's hope it returns soon- I've had that site (well, the Daggerfall bit) bookmarked since 1996. Excellent stuff.

Heh. Marara's Ring... is found on Marara herself, in Drethan Ancestral Tomb. The tomb itself is southwest of Ald Daedroth. (Or you can go to the biggish island to the east of the Rotheran Stronghold, which is in turn the stronghold found on Dagon Fel.)
With all that info, I hope you don't get lost.

IIRC the ring of the wind comes through an Imperial Cult Oracle quest.
It'd be located
in a cavern (Nammu?) at the south eastern corner of the Grazelands on the coast
. Again I think.

The Ring of the Wind you can get in the dungeon Nammu. Its a quest that is given by the oracle in Ebonhart imperial guild chambers. But first you have to do the other offered quests there. I presume you can directly go to Nammu and get it without the quest. Nammu is situated west of Tel Alrun in the east. its hard to find at the coast of the main land. Southeast of Falensaro.
The ring of wind ats 20 or 40 to your agility as a constant effect.
I am thinking about keeping it instead of handing it back to the oracle.

I did those quests not too long ago... I believe the Oracle let's you keep the ring.... Big bluish looking thing? I've got it on my character now.... very nice (adds 20pts I think).
The Oracle quests are pretty good, if you can keep from getting the tar kicked out of you.... I think my favoriate item from those quests is the "Skull Crusher" hammer..... I've wacked quite a few things with that one (and I didn't even start off with a blunt-weapon skill in my majors/miniors).
