Medsci and Hydro are my favourites.
That's right, ZB. I went there.

Because these sort of "post an ordered list!" threads are only slightly less tedious than reading sheets of actuarial details. Who in their right mind would actually read every single slightly-different list in threads like this? Nobody, that's who. As far as internet stupidity goes, these things rank right up there with "Post you system specs! OLOL" threads. It's pure ego spam. Thus, they deserve nothing more or less than mockery and derision.
Lighten up. It's better for your health. :)

Interesting question. One I can't answer in a straight forward way.
Try ranking the parts in your car from favorite to least favorite. Does not the sum of the parts equate to the fulfillment of the end products purpose.
I chose the end product, the sum of all the parts. System Shock 2 is the best game/ most favorite I've played to date.
Therefore: Med/Sci deck + Eng deck+ deck 4 + (other decks) = System Shock 2, so therefore System Shock 2 = Sum of all decks, so all decks = System Shock 2, so Best/ most favorite game = System Shock 2, so most favorite = All decks. Answer is all decks
It's all in the math.

1. Deck 2 - Med/Sci
2. Deck 4 - Ops
3. Deck 1 - Engineering
4. Deck 6 - Command
5. Deck 3 - Hydroponics
6. Deck 5 - Recreation
I just never really liked Hydro or Rec. Can't remember off the top of my head why.

I hate engineering with a passion.
All the other decks are groovy. Well hydroponics is once you've killed off most of the midwives.

The reason I really dig the Ops deck is because I find the apartment complexes in that deck just so awesome and creepy. The entire deck is probably the creepiest in the game (for me). The Recreation deck is also awesome for that reason, but to a slightly lesser extent.

Well if the tittle did say "Rank the six decks in order from favorite to least favorite - and back it up!" would that be better? So that people would argument why their list looked as they did..

Engineering is by far my favourite level in SS2. Particularly the Cargo Bays. It was the only level that managed to give me a feeling remotely similar to the one I get when playing the original Shock.

This deck has some really smashing music when you're at the coolant tubes..

Ops stands a bit higher than other decks. Mainly because of that nice music in area 43 :) Otherwise all decks are at the same level for me.
