So I went to Tel Fyr a few days ago, as the main quest has you do, and while I was there (being very careful not to kill anyone), I found this 'golden door' that was locked pretty well, IIRC. So i said to myself, gee, perhaps there's some of that loot what's-his-face is taunting adventurers with back there. So I picked the lock, and no, turns out it's just some random woman who wants me to take her back to her father. Now, I assume that I've stumbled on a quest from the wrong end, but can I just take her now? And who, exactly, is this father to whom I should return her? (i.e. should I just be patient and wait until I come across this quest in the normal scheme of things, or can I pick it up half way through?) :confused:

I got the same thing. She tells you to go talk to Ald'Ruhn for a friend of her father but I personally didnt get any choice on the conversation to bring her up (or her father). So now I just carry the locket with me in hope I happen to bumb into her dad :erg:

Delyna Mandas mentioned that her father, Arethan Mandas is probably worried about her. She gave me a locket to take to Arethan Mandas as proof that she is safe.
I dont remember the name of her fathers friend in Ald'Ruhn off hand.

umm I never did this quest myself but I think her father is in the cave called milk which is south of ald ruhn outside of the wasteland region... not good directions I know but it is much easier to find with the TES map.

It's a Redoran quest, btw, with a less-than-fulfilling reward (an ebony helm, IIRC). Oh, and newbiequestions, FWIW yup that's right.

And to save anyone else from the pointless wandering that I just did, Milk is west from Ald'Ruhn.
PS. I just spent nearly and hour scanning the land south od Ald'Ruhn :p

lol sorry about that i didn't realize I said south i meant west. Besides I told you it was bad directions and to use the TES map

I just found out it's directly South of Bal Isra.
make a line west of aldruhn and south of Bal Isra, search where it intersects.

Another trick is to follow the path west from Ald'Ruhn and pass thru the mountain pass; right after, head north and slightly uphill and keep your eyes to the right. You should find it shortly thereafter. (This is from memory, but I think that's Milk...)
