But I caught myself deciding where I would fall if it were something serious. I didn't want to damage any of his inventory...
I raise my head and see the parachute slowly falls in the distance around 200 meters from me ( 'Still the ammo depot zone', I think to myself). Almost everyone around me started to stack boxes near the fence for a reason unknown to me. So I raise my head again. Now I see. I slowly closing my ears with my index fingers. And then I close my eyes. And wait. Pure void in my head. No, there is something else. Or someone? 'One, two, three, four...' just a mental arithmetic, rhytm, that bastard still wondering how long he has left to ... The sonic wave.
This is weird, but there is no horror at that moment. Horror is the complex feeling. You're shrinking to something simple; maybe this is what yourself are? I dont know, but I can describe it, I suppose.

It's been a great life and if I can extend it then fine. If I can't then fine. It never was up to me when. I've talked to some here in PM's that have gone through shit you don't know anything about and I see the same acceptance. Maybe it's not denial. Maybe it's just looking the other way. "Look at the moon" is a phrase I heard someone I care about say multiple times. I think I understand what it means now.
Self-detection! Comes to my mind after your sincere words. It's a trully rare moments when you can detect yourself and yourself only. Something similar I experienced in the moments of love. You love someone not because of his/her richness or beauty, but because it is YOU who love, not your desire to get rich, or authority, etc.

I went to a costume party for the first time in ages. My old art buddy, Joey, threw it and now that the grands are growing up and doing their own stuff I finally gave in and went. He went all out.

when I came out my house this morning I found some military dog tags on my mailbox flag. I couldn't make out any thing on any of the tags except for some random numbers since they were dented and scratched up beyond repair. I dont what to think now.

Check if your house is built on a Native American grave yard. If it is, consider moving before the third act.

Either some roadside mower hacked them out of earth nearby and some helpful soul hung them there or it was a wilder party at your house than you remember.
Speaking of which, do you want to know my one regret in life? I never owned Boldt castle where I would throw themed costume parties every month inviting all of the interesting people I've known and blasting my favorite tunes suited to the theme, whether space or eighteenth century regal, or nautical, or Universal monster, or barbarian, or whatever, where wine flowed and pyrotechnics boomed. Oh well, in another life perhaps.

Looks cool. Looks like there's a couple of studio apartments at a house on Hub Island just south of the Castle. Prolly need to sandbag it though with the rising waters from global warming.

Why do you non-own it so, Tocky? What hath the castle ever done to thee as to not be owned by you?
Srsly though, have you had a chance to own it, or do you mean it would be cool to own it?

It hasn't been up for sale ever I think. It was essentially abandoned after the owner's wife died. Then the bridge authority took it over for restoration and is open to the public. I mean Tocky probably could rent it for a day or so and pretend to own it.
