Alone, these wouldn't warrant their own thread, but (maybe) together, this won't be considered mindless spam. Feel free to ask your own questions too.
Why do horoscopes start with Aries (March 21 - April 19)?
When somebody (like on MST3K or Jon Stewart) goes "mmmmm, that's good booooze", what's this in reference too?
Similarily, what is "tell me again about the rabbits, George" from?
What was the hallucinogenic fruit that the Rock and Stiffler ate in The Rundown, and is this a real fruit, or just something made up in the movie (and why are there African baboons in Brazil, and wtf was Christopher Walken doing in this POS anyway)?

The horrorscope one is easy. The seasons usually run Spring, Summer, Autumn/Fall, Winter.
Spring starts with the Spring equinox (March 21st, start of Aries), Summer with the Summer solstice (June 22nd, start of Cancer), Autumn with the Autumn equinox (September 24th, start of Libra) and Winter with the Winter solstice (December 22nd, start of Capricorn)

The rabbit line is from Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men". The slow Lenny was always asking his partner George to tell him again about the farm they were going to get and live on when they saved enough money. Of course, it never happens.
The Rundown:
1) They refer to the fruit as "konlobos". I have no idea if it's real. Can't find any references to it outside of that movie.
2) 'Cause African baboons work for much less than Brazilian baboons? (Are there baboons in Brazil?)
3) Christopher Walkin has to pay bills too.

"Mmmm, that's good booze" is an old Jackie Gleason line, I believe.

Why is there a Wessex and an Essex, a Sussex and a Midddlesex in the middle, but no Norssex?
If Northampton is the chief town of Northamptonshire, then why isn't Hampshire called Southamptonshire?
Why is it called the World Series when there are only teams from one country competing in it?

Why is it called the World Cup if Sumatra wasn't invited?
