1. Ive gotten well past the point in the game where I'm immune to all diseases, does that mean I can still get vampirism? I want to but I dont know if I can. Also when contracting vampirism is it more easily contracted without armor? (Im on xbox so i cant edit anything with the editor)
2. Is the easter egg about turning the goldbrand into the elton brand true, and if so how do I do it?
3. In people's opinions whats the best weapon in the game without enchanting
4. And finally do people with the comp version think it worth it to move from xbox to comp for the editor and the various mods.
Thanks I just started pondering and couldn't stop myself

1+2 : Try searching for vampirism and Eltonbrand, there is already a thread or two with the information you seek.
3 : I'm mostly a mage player and don't use weapons if I can avoid it. But if I have to choose one weapon without any enchantments it would be the Daedric Wakizashi - fast, good minimum & maximum damage and it looks good.
4 : I can't see any reason to touch the X-Box version if you have a computer that can handle the game (ie. get the PC version).

I think my comp will support it I just dont know how well.
I have a
800mhz
Pentium 3
20 g
Fast dvd rom(fast enough)
Win 98
But On two key points I only meet the minimum and I dont want crappy frame rate
128 ram
and a crappy Nvidia Riva TNT2 pro
Can anyone with the comp version or similar comp tell me how they think it will run.

I use the X-Box version because my computer is getting old in years. This saves me money and X-Box works well enough for me, I've definetly played enough hours to make the game worth the 50 dollars I've paid for it.

Megair: Hmm.. I'd suspect that the graphics card and memory will be your bottlenecks; you can get better of both for pretty cheap these days.

If you do decide to get the xbox version, make sure to pick up a memory chip so you can make a back up of your character. I had about 30 hours into the game and went to play one night after the kids had gone to bed and it was all gone!
Not deleted but gone. All the kids saved games everything. The xbox showed blocks on the hard drive that were used but couldn't acesses them. When I talked to xbox support they said it has been happening some. They said one guy called in and had 500 hours in Morrowind and now couldn't acesses.
For about 100 they said you could send off the xbox and a few weeks later they'd send it back to you with everything restored.
So I bought a memory chip and every couple days I save a back up of my back up onto that.

Oh dang that has to be horrible. I'd of just said screw it. I am only able to play about twice a week for an hour. But that adds up danget ;)

1. There are lots of threads about vampirism and in particular questions concerning how to lower your immunity to common disease - check them out.
2. Yep - i very recently posted how to get gold brand where i was giving advice about weapons to a guy who had created a ninja custom class.
3. Top 3 in no particular order - Daedric Wakizashi (short blade), Daedric Dai Katana (two handed, long blade), Daedric Battle Axe (two handed, Axe) - its all a matter of taste.
4. In my opinion it's not worth spending near £1,000 for a new computer just to play morrowind when you can already play it on the X box.
