I have a few random questions about modifiers, items etc so I can beef up my beast of a level 12 Mercenary (I haven't seen an enemy I couldn't kill yet).
questions:
Where can I find Daedric Pauldrons?
What sorts of modifiers do the attributes provide? Namely, if I have 140 strength, and a weapon that does 60 damage, what is my damage afterwards?
What sort of modifiers do the Masteries provide? With 100 in Long Sword, what would the afformentioned 60 damage sword's damage be modified to?
How many points of Fortify Attack would I be able to stuff on a Daedric Longbow (10 enchantment points :tsktsk: )

Tel Fyr - The wizard at the Top of the Tower has a full set of daedric armour minus the helm. This is the ONLY place you can get daedric pauldrons and to make matters worse you need the guy who's wearing them for the main quest. Good Luck. ;)

That's a great question and i haven't really got a clue on strengths effect on melee. There is a large thread which i keep meaning to search for on this board called 'Stength effect on Unarmed and Melee' which i hope will help - perhaps you should have a look as well...

[EDIT]
I've just read the thread and well it's useless so don't bother reading it unless you'd like to get involved in the dress/robe debate... :nono:

Not sure really; as far as i've heard you can give yourself a rough guide by dividing the enchantment slots by 5 - you'll be looking at 2 points of constant effect Fortify Attack which ain't good...
Sorry i couldn't help more. :erg:

i would be quite interested on hearing bout how strenght and skill modies the effect of a weapon...
i am an assassin who somehow ended up with a 100 strength... (i say it's for carryin all
that loot)... and i hope it also comes in handy during the
sneak - sneak - sneak - sneak - TWACK!!!!! (bing - critical damage) phases of the game...
but i would like that confirmed...
otherwise i been foolishly drinkin sujamma to boost strength to 150 or even 200 when entering a battle where i cannot use the sneak ability (usually mutliple persons in very close proximity).

Is that fool in Tel Fyr useful for more than one part of the main quest (corprus), or is there something later on? If hes only there for one part, I can go kill him now ;)
As for the Enchantment, I was hoping Fortify Attack was different... Perhaps I'll put it on a shirt of some sort.
Thanks for trying to help Red, its much better than "stfu n00b" by far :)

Well i believe he has to cure you of corpus in the main quest and you may have to see him before or after this to make you hortator or something... If you join the Telvanni you'll also need him...

LOL yes well as long as your questions can't be answered by the manual or unique enough for me not to recall reading the thread which had the answer a day ago - you'll be OK in that department.
Good Luck :D

Red: Ahhh, stfu n00b *grin* *duck*
ElectricVoodoo: If you're on the PC, I think I saw a plugin wherein someone made an NPC that reports damage taken. It might be on the site Kilana quoted in her thread on our main Morrowind board. (I'd check, but I'm at work; they snoop visited URLs, and that one has 'game' in it)
Edit: Fixed a typo...

Unfortunately, I'm on the supposedly unpatchable (I don't buy it...) X-Box version. I had to delete a character due to the Fury bug, and another had an error which corrupted my save file... So now I'm on #3 and must do things without plug-ins/patches etc...
Hell, I don't even have health bars on my opponents... Not that it matters, only Golden Saints can stand more than 3 hits from my Eltonbrand.
