I was just in Andrano Ancestral Tomb (for the second time around) and I was checking a chest when I thought, "Wait a minute... there's something behind me." Because of my mad skillz, I was right! And I didn't even have detect creature either. I turn around and see a skeleton but... this one is trying to sneak up on me! I've never caught a creature sneaking up on me, and the only time I've ever seen anything sneaking was in one of the misc. quests in Tribunal.
Just wondering if anyone else has caught things sneaking up on them. I didn't know they were smart enough.

That's cool-I've never seen any NPC/creature sneak before either, other than the lovely Fargoth and that naughty man in Tribunal. The closest I've has is skeletons cunningly waiting behind doors when you go into a new area in a tomb :)

IIRC, that chest is the cursed one that triggers the message "You suddenly feel very cold" and had the two corpses in the antechamber rise from the dead and attack you.

And I didn't get a message. It was a chest that had already been unlocked and opened my previous visit. I didn't remember seeing a skeleton there before but I used logic, i.e., "D*mn, there's something behind me isn't there?"
... But I've never come across a chest like that. Sounds interesting... Are you sure it's in Andrano Ancestral Tomb?

You're talking about the Sandras Tomb. I just opened the chest there and recieved that message, "You suddenly feel quite cold." It doesn't scare me... my character can see in the dark, lol.

i wonder if npc's can pickpocket from our characters... because i sometimes hear the sound of unequippng while walking.... and i just think someone sneaked and...:devil:
if we can do it, why can't they? it can be possible, right?
and ryushi, what can u expect from a skeleton?:D to sing songs or scream like the winged twi-chicks while approaching?:D they don't bother to warn u of course....
i can't imagine a skeleton running towards us shouting "dieeee fetchchaaaaaa!!!!!!"...

Skeletons are amazingly slow, but I've seen a few post-suicidal ones. They're also mostly blind... I can walk up to them without them seeing me most of the time even when I'm not sneaking. But I was just careless... my supreme skillz saved me. If it had actually posed a threat anyway.
