lso, is your implied argument that it's ok to hate mexicans because they're not a real race anyhow?
That is one of the most bizarrely twisted things I think I've ever heard. Do you have some reason to hate Mexicans?

I think the corruption and savagery are the REASON for Mexico's economic problems, not the result.
They're poor because they're corrupt and savage? Wow.

Where on earth did you people get the idea that truth is a mere matter of majority opinion?
It is when the subject that you're dealing with is how people behave.
Let's try some theoretical situations, where I'm a burglar and I break into a house to steal valuables, and I'm surprised by the home-owner:
Situation 1: neither of us have gunsI grab what I can and run away. Maybe I hit the home-owner and do some minor injury to stop them from catching me, but nothing serious.
Situation 2: I don't have a gun, home-owner doesI could grab what I can and run away, maybe getting shot by the home-owner who would thereby be becoming a murderer in 'self defence' of a reasonably harmless crime. If I get away, I'll probably see about getting a gun of my own next time.
Otherwise, I could try to take the gun from the home-owner, possibly accidentally shooting them or me in the process. Either way, fair chance of someone dying.
Situation 3: I have a gun, the home-owner doesn'tI threaten the home-owner with the gun. If they are cooperative, I take what I want and leave - I have no reason to hurt them. Or they could try to tackle me for the gun, again giving a chance of one of us getting killed
Situation 4: we both have gunsI threaten the home-owner with my gun, and they pull out their own. Despite not having intended to actually use my gun, I shoot them dead in basically self-defence because I don't want to die.
Which of those situations would you rather be involved in?

One example: Wells said 95 percent of the firearms seized at Mexican crime scenes were smuggled south from the United States. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives estimates that more than 7,7004 guns sold in America have been traced to Mexico, some of them linked to shootouts among the cartels or between police and drug organizations.
From your link, take notice what it says next time. ;)
I love Mexican food too. Yum! Various regions have different styles to cook food, different ingredients. Wish I could taste 'em all. :)

That's basically what they said. You saw it.
