My old video card just died but fortunatley I had a Radeon HD2600 kicking around so I threw that one in. With the help of DDFix everything is more or less fine, but I'm noticing some annoying perfomance issues particularly with long distance views.
Looking at a 300 poly screen in Dromed I can get 50-75fps, but then turning and facing a 300 poly long distance view and all of a sudden I'm down to about 10-12fps. It's driving me nuts, is there anything I can do? :confused:
My system:
OS: XP
Catalyst Version: 7.5 (not sure which version I should use. I understand some of the later versions are causing problems)
Video card: ATI Radeon Saphire HD 2600

Try updating Catalyst. You can always use system restore to revert to your old version.
I'm using 10.11 with an HD5670. No problems with Thief 2.
