Having recently reinstalled and mod the game to check it out with the new patch.I decided to use the Tacticool weapons pack and as fire now all the of textures work except for one the pistol.No matter what I do the damn model remains the old vanilla one.Do you guys have any ideas on how to fix this so I play with modded model?

One idea is that you can have multiple "override" folders with overlapping mods. The game will look for them in priority sequence so unless you replace the correct model, it won't affect anything. If you delete all instances of the original pistol model file and have the new one "somewhere" that is a valid reference, the game should pick it up. Have a look through your game directory structure to see if you've done such a thing.

I think I might know what the problem is the link for the pistol is broken since the folder fro the mod only files.dta inside and never game with any folders like the other replacement textures in the mod came from.Do you happen to have another version laying around somewhere that I could download.The version I am looking for is the ADaOB compatible version.The pistol is the only one with this issue.

There is nothing relating to the pistol in the ADaOB folder and the only file in the folder for the pistol mod is files.dta. I don't see anything to overwrite and to with.What am I supposed to do and how am I supposed to do it because I am completely lost now.

ADAOB 3.0 has Atek_H.bin in the obj folder, you need to delete that.

Okay I did that whats next since I just checked and model is still the vanilla one.

now you need to put the tacticool files in some valid location, so the game would load them. the location where you have the rest of the tacticool files would be ok, I guess (as the rest of the weapons apparently load for you). (

It works now,Thanks for the help.Now I can also enjoy another playthrough of System Shock 2
