i dont know if anyone else has found this, but I managed to edit the quick save & load keys so they are the same as in T2.
I edited the following files for the F5 & F9 entries etc
user.bnd
dark.bnd
cfg0000.bnd

Forget me. I misread the post. I seem to remember that F5 and F6 were the lock picks and F11 and F12 were the QS which caused no end of trouble when you QSd your death instead of QLing your last save, with F10 being "Take a screenie".
