I reccomend you wait till at least level 15 before finishing the main quest.
Also you might want to do a bunch of the oblivion gates to get your fame rating up high before you do too many db/thief quests since you do not want your infamy to exceed your fame or you can have some trouble :P
I try to keep it at least double my infamy.
The stones increase by your level so you can use them to make better magic items if your higher level. Transcendant is the best and starts like level 18 or something like that ?
I did thief/fighter/mage guild quest first in that order but thats me. If possible dont get your mage staff till level 15 if you might actually want to use it. It is a leveled item so later it is a stronger item. I just sell it personally.
Some people say to do arena first for the armor, some say do dark brotherhood first for the same reason. Just need to start them to get the armor.
DB you can also get some nice magic items which are NOT leveled(I believe)
Your also supposed to be able to get the dark brotherhood armor at someones house somewhere without joining but im not sure where that is located.
Items you pop are also leveled for the most part. So the later you do those quests the nicer your rewards shall be.

You'll probably end up fighting scamps and clannfears all the way through the quest :p, but yeah, it can be done.
Wow... nobody said it was
that easy..:(
At least getting that Seigil stone with a high difficulty level was much easier and faster than I expected.

Remember there's that guy who beat the entire mainquest without killing any person or creature and without gaining a level. I'm trying to do the same and really it's not that hard so long as you don't ever stop running.
Also, Tuco beat the game and all the sidequests in like two weeks. This may or may not be true.

He did gain one level. There's no way to get all the things Martin needs unless you're at least level 2.

Why dont you make a movie like they did for quake done quick ?
I dont see the attraction in this but I guess it takes all kinds.

I just don't get it though. Why all those realistic environement, all those real-life imitations, when all you have to do is run as fast as you can? :) Why all those light/heavy armor level degrees?
Two weeks? No, I don't think I bought it to sprint. It was to enjoy it, "low and slow", every tiny detail observed :p

Thats what im talking about. Why pay $50.00 to finish the game in an hour or less ? I would just feel pissed and ripped off. They should have made it more difficult to finish it but done is done as they say.
I am level 39 and still playing side quest, sometimes I wish I hadnt finished the main quest though. No more sigil stones.

Exactly why I haven't closed the gates yet. They're the only areas to give me some kind of trouble and a decent reward. And sorry about getting the level wrong. Still, level two is a pretty good accomplishment.
