the files for the plugin need to go into C:/program files/bethesda softworks/oblivion/data. or somewhere close to that path.

Well....they were saved to desktop....would I be able to get it to work if I just moved the folder/s?

make sure the .esd file is in the data directory, and any folders that came wtih ti are in tehre as wel, so if you got an esd file, a textures folder, and a meshes folder, it would look like this:
bethesda/data/file.esd
bethesda/data/textures/
bethesda/data/meshes/
then once those are all in the data directory, you can load the plugin as instructed above.

Er....i dont have an ESD file, but I do have and ESP file....would putting that in the data folder with the texture and meshes files work?

Oh god, thank you, I tried asking my freind bout it, but since he only knew how to work Morrowind Mods I ended spending an hour getting nothing accomplished, It's good to finnally know how to get mods working, I thank you once again.
