1) Does Morrowind have trouble with large numbers for anyone else? For example: I buy an enchantment worth approx. 100,000, and lose only 4000 odd. Playing around with the command line seems that it can't handle numbers greater than 50,000....strange...
2) If I have a 50% resist Magicka bonus, and then cast an additional 20% and then 30% resist Magicka spells/enchantments, am I know totally resistant to magicka, for example? Or 60%, 10% and 30% chameleon rendering me totally invisible?

1) Dunno what your talking about, haven't tried to pay for an enchantment that big.
2) Yes/Yes from my experience. Could be wrong through.

It certainly seems to have trouble with large amounts of gold. I was curious to see what one of my characters would look like in glass armor, so rather than kill the guy at Ghostgate, I gave my character about 100,000 gold through the editor. It didn't seem to change, so I tried it again. I ended up with 200k in coins. I bought all of the glass pieces he had and the coin count never went down. I don't know what would have happened after that because I went back to a previous save, but there certainly was weird behavior.
As for the second question, yes, spells are cumulative. However, the enchantment has to come from different sources. For example, if you had a 20% invisibility ring and a 50% invisibility belt and a 30% invisibility amulet, you would be 100% invisible. On the other hand, if you used the 20% ring five times, you would still be only 20% invisible.
