1) Whats the difference between half-organic creatures and half-robotic?.
2) What are the penalties for dying aside from having to walk all the way back?.
3) How common are speed hypos throughout the game?.
4) Currently I have energy weapons at 4 but I want to use the EMP gun at the same time being
good with melee weapons, after I obtain the minimum stat requirements for the EMP gun should
I max out energy weapon stats for laser rapier or quit energy stat entirely (after EMP gun)
and get exotic skill for crystal shard seeing as the shard is an all around better melee
weapon. .. ?
5) Does Psionic Hypnogenesis pacify enemies that are half-organic and half-robotic?.
6) Imposed Neural Restructuring apparently effects non-robotic creatures but Ive read it also
works on Cyborgs which are partially organic, so this should work on midwives and assassins
right?.
7) How fast does Soma Transference take away health from the enemy? and does it still take
away health once your own health is full?.
8) When using the PSI invisibility (photonic redirection i think its called), if you bump into
an enemy with your body will that render you visible again?.
9) Is it that the only way I can change through PSI tier powers is manually clicking the arrow
buttons with the mouse or is there a hotkey?.

1) You don't want to use Anti-personell bullets on half-robotic, and not Armor-Piercing bullets on half-organic enemies.
2) On Normal and above, it costs 10 nanites to get your body regenerated.
3) They are pretty rare.
4) The EMP gun is not worth the cost, just call it a day on Energy 4 and invest in Exotic. (at Exotic 6 you kill a cyborg assassin with one over-hand swing)
6) I'd say so yes. You can just try it out and see for yourself.
8) Nope, at least I don't think so, I try to avoid touching the enemies I'm trying to sneak past. ;)
9) There are hotkeys, but I'm not familiar with them.
10) Get the melee damage boost first, then get the overhand swing; the crystal shard will be very nasty if you manage to hit any enemy with it.
By the way, the overhand attack does a lot more damage than the default one, it depends on what weapon we are talking about though. I believe the Shard gets the biggest damage boost.

The shard does excessive overhead damage due to a bug. (It accidentally does the overhead smash damage in addition to the normal damage, rather than instead of it.)
I'm not sure if this is fixed in ADaoB.
1) Not sure what you mean. The main classifications are
* Human (4x anti-human, 0.5x armour piercing, 4x high explosive, 2x energy, immune to anti-annelid)
* Mechanical (4x armour piercing, 4x EMP, 0.5x bash, 0.50x high explosive, 4x electricity, 2x energy, immune to charm, stun, anti-human, anti-annelid, etc.)
* Half-Mechanical (2x armour piercing, 2x EMP, 4x electricity, 0.5x incendiary, 0.5x cold, immune to anti-annelid)
* Swarming (immune to everything but anti-Annelid)
* Annelid (2x psi, 4x anti-annelid, x2 incendiary, 0.5x armour piercing, 2x high explosive, 0.5x energy)
* Half-Annelid (0.5x armour piercing, 4x high explosive, 2x anti-human, 2x incendiary).
6) Cyborgs can be charmed.
7) The health transferred depends on your PSI stat. The power still takes the health away even if your health is full, but you won't get it.

4. I agree with Bjossi; don't worry about the EMP rifle. Besides, you need an Energy stat of 6 to use it, which is as high as your Energy can go. You'd be better off maxing out Exotic and/or Standard (for the Assault Rifle).
Bjossi on 11/4/2007 at 20:23
I haven't tried it, but maybe the EMP rifle works great in the final battle of the game. If you are on Easy or Normal, it probably wouldn't hurt too much maxing out Energy.

the emp rifle is ace! It lets you completly destroy any robots/cyborgs/turrets with very little effort. And in the final battle it is very usefull, you can use it to win without having to hack at all if you overcharge it (psi battery skill will help!) And laser pistols at energy 6 pack a decent punch against organic enemies. Try playing using nothing but energy weapons its great fun!

Too bad the EMP rifle is of no use in the BotM, but keeping it in your inventory while reaching the grand finalle, will be worth it as d0om said. :cool:

Only real problem is that once you get to the stage where you can use the EMP rifle, there are so many other better, more general purpose alternatives available.
The first time I played through SS2 I used energy weapons only, having fond memories of the energy weapons in SS1. The idea of freeing myself from the yoke of the ValueWrap ammunition monopoly also appealed. What I didn't count on was the sheer futility of energy weapons against annelid and the tougher human/annelid hybrids, and the lack of recharging facilities in the BoTM. Even on energy 6 and overcharged, the laser pistol is pathetic against rumblers on higher difficulty settings. <Zap>. <Zap><Zap><Zap><Zap>.<Zzaaaap>. Reload.

I use the wrench or the crystal shard to take out rumblers.
I'm not sure how effective the laser rapier would be, but it would be much better than the laser pistol afaik.
