Hmmm, found a neat little program called Winpatch. Seems to do the same job...only much faster. :) I'm going to see what I can do with this...might actually be able to use it to cut the size of the installer down. It could be quite useful.

Ah, okay; I honestly don't know much about metafiles, I haven't even touched them. I just picked that file as an example; the process would work equally well on the HD metafile.
