I'm uninstalling and reinstalling Thief 3 and the editor for various reasons.
Last time I did it I used the top set of instructions here:

But the bottom set (installing into one folder) seems more preferable to me as it's a space saver. Has anyone had any problems with it?

;)
Although, it does have to be a separate install at this point. I might try to integrate the single folder install later. :)

Have you got a link to the installation instructions and the file?

That installer's looking good so far :-)
Never tried the single folder install sorry. Drive space is cheaper than reinstall time if anything goes screwy.

It's not finished yet. Soon though. :)

I've just gotten the go ahead from Komag to alter sections of his tutorial for T3EnhancED. Thanks Komag! :)
Give me another day or two and I should have the package ready. It's painless one stop shopping.

New Horizon, anything I should be aware of with regards to compatability with GL for your enhanced installer?

I tried it at first, but soon went for the two folders. It's fine for just messing around in the editor, but it gets confusing when you're preparing to distribute a mission; you really need a separate clean install for testing your mission. Otherwise you don't know whether the mission works because you packaged all the files that it needs, or because you already had them because you were working on the mission in the editor.

I don't think there will be any issues, all the changes are internal to the editor. I'll likely throw a custom schemameta file up for download, so people who only want to play the missions properly don't have to download the full editor.

Barring any major issues, I should be able to have the installer ready for a Sunday release. I won't make an absolute promise on that, but cross your fingers.
