Hallo.
I finally got around to completing Thief: Deadly Shadows this week (after a break for around 2 years...). I decided to try playing around with the editor and am following Komag's tutorial.
I dunno what I've pressed though, but the static meshes seem to have disappeared in the top and 3D views, and I can't work out how to turn them back on again! Any help would be appreciated! It's very difficult trying to rotate and align steps when you can't see them! :laff:
On the whole though, I'm having a great time so far - it brings back good memories of playing around with DromEd years ago! :cheeky:

Right-click on the viewportal header (where it says Top, Front, Side or Texture Use) and go into View on the menu that appears. There are options in there to toggle viewing of the main components for that viewportal, including static meshes.

Welcome, bujin77! :D
There's also a button on the top of the Flesh Renderer window that will disable viewing static meshes. The balloon help for that button says "Toggle Flesh Object Drawing."

Righto, ta. I'll look out for that one next time I'm playing around with the editor. (Later tonight or tomorrow, probably!). I got around it this time by shutting the editor down and reopening it. That did the trick!
Ta for your help!

There's also a keyboard shortcut that turns on/off drawing the staticmeshes in the windows.
I use it all the time and can't remember it (how embarassing!):
I think it's K or M (by themselves, no shift/ctrl/alt/whatever)

That was the other guess.
The one I edited out of the post :(
As I said though - it is something I use a lot, so just kind of do unthinkingly.
