You seem to be the all knowing person to ask questions of so here goes. I just finished the courtesy quest in Ghostgate for the Inperial Leagon out of Ebonheart and before I returned with the report, I stole one of the glass longswords. When I got back and made my report, Farl the White gave me the book (289 second seed). I advanced and received new orders to kill a renagade guard on the Azura coast. I then boarded a ship to Tel Branora and up to that point everything was great. As soon as I arrived in Tel Branora the screen boarders all turned red like when I take damage and even after resting it stayed that way. I checked all my stats and items for curses and couldn't find anything wrong. I did manage to fix it by reloading the save from where I exited Ghostgate and repeated the report and advancement. I did not talk to the duke or the Knight of dragon this time and now everything is ok. Could you explain what happened for futur reference?

It could be a bug. It happened to me once, after a fight (in which I did take damage) the red border just didn't switch off.
You didn't by chance accidentally become a vampire?

Agreed. That happens to me sometimes ,too. Fight ends suddenly, or I teleport away while taking damage, and the red border stays with me until 1) I sleep, 2) I reload my game, or 3) I restart the app.

Oddly, it happens
really frequently when I'm a vampire. About 50% of the time, when I run inside while taking sun damage, I'm wearing that red corona until I quit that gaming session.

Yeah, whey they said! :)
It also happens sometimes if you look at the sun and move through a loading zone. During the load process, the screen ends up white. But this usually goes away when the new cell has loaded.

Well it happens when you are recieving a graphics then you interrupt it by changing exterior to one which doesn't finnish it. So it happens whenever you are out as day as a vampire and walk into an interior or teleport in the middle of recieving damage etc. Easiest fix is to take damage again, jump off something tallish or let yourself be hit by a weak creature or if you are a vampire a 1 point frost damage on self is sometimes usefull.
It is really annoying when you interrupt a fade out :grr:

Thanks for the help, I will keep it in mind for the next time. By the way, I did not become a vamp.
